Is my birth plan okay?

Yes I know it is possible it won’t be met due to an emergency and that is fine. I just wanted to make sure this was alright.

No interns, student nurses, residents are allowed to touch or treat me/my baby. Only RN’s, LPN’s,my OBGYN, and my child’s pediatrician can touch me or my baby. I request only my husband and medical staff to be present during delivery. I wouldn’t like to be offered pain relief. If I feel I need it, I will request it. After birth I request my child spend a few minutes holding my child  before routine tests and treatments will be performed. I would like my child vaccinated and have routine tests done in the room with myself present. If I can not be present due to any reason, I request that my husband is present.

I would go over this with your OB. They're the only one who will know if this is doable or not. My hospital has a template & I just checked the boxes for my preferences; doesn't mean they'll follow it, but it's there. There are some things you may not have a choice with & some things that are standard. Skin to skin directly after birth is already something my hospital does, so it doesn't need to be requested or specified.

Like everyone else said, I would check in with your OB to see if it is doable. For myself, I will be at a teaching hospital also the only hospital in my area with an incredible NICU just in case, for that reason, I’m comfortable having students like someone else stated, I may not be seen or treated like others will be. Each hospital and OB is different :)

It sounds pretty good I feel like the only way you would hold your baby right away is if something was going on with it other than that you should have skin to skin contact for I believe an hour I think I’ve read

Sounds like a great start! Definitely chat with your OB - sometimes there's a standard birth plan form that the hospital uses.
The only thing I'd say is that the OB attending physician is often VERY busy. If residents are not part of your care, you may not get the same attention or frequency of check-ins as women who do have residents involved. If you're working at a teaching hospital, consider letting residents (even just senior residents) take part in your care. They're already doctors and are specializing in the field - most are highly competent individuals and will help the attending OB manage your birth.
It really is whatever you're comfortable with in the end.

It's pretty simple compared to most I see, unfortunately 90% of the time someone comes in with a birth plan something happens and they go out the window, ie low blood sugars, body temps, etc. Most nurses and doctors respect those wishes regardless of a birth plan. Do some research and see if your hospital is baby friendly and that alone will secure most of the plan (besides the no students/resident rule). That you'll have to be specific about.
