State disability for maternity leave is a joke
I thought if was heaven sent, being able to stay home to care for my baby and have money to pay my bills.
Instead, they advertise 6 weeks paid BUT you have a waiting period of a week they don’t pay you for, ok then that 5 weeks....
BUT for reasons that the state couldn’t not answer I was only paid for 4 weeks!!!
WTH!!
Their response, if your doctor says you need more time to recover you’ll get more pay.
There’s nothing I can do...
