confused

so in december i took plan b a few days after my period ended then a week after i took planb i started bleeding, not light enough to be spotting but not as heavy as my normal period. then about a week later i went to the doctor to start birth control they did a pregnancy test on me and it was negative. so i started my birth control a few days later on sunday then 3 weeks later i started bleeding again on my active pills, not light enough to be spotting but not as heavy as mu normal period. would those 2 bleedings i had be considered my period bc my periods are 28 days apart and those 2 bleeds were 28 days apart?
