What are your IUD EXPERIENCES

Question

I have a few questions before I decide to go with the iud. 
Which iud caused the least weight gain?
Did any stop your period?
What does it feel like?

I got the Kyleena juts like Madison, about half a yeat ago. Inserting hurt like a biatch ( I didnt get the local anesthetic) and I fainted afterwards, but all was ok. Since then my period has been pretty irregular. at the beginning of january I started spotting which then turned into my period, and I ended up bleeding 3 weeks straight. Now I have intense pains again, like in November. But that's all supposed to pass with time. My body is still adjusting, and I'm hoping for the best. ps: ive always had a very strong period and when i did occasionally get cramps they were bad. But don't let talk it bad for you. The sex I've had since then is amazing :)

I have skyla. as someone else said how badly it hurts I think depends, for me it really wasn't bad at all. I took 3 Advil before I went and it was uncomfortable bit not terrible. though I have had a child and based on experience of other friends I do think that makes a difference and makes it easier. 
I had near constant spotting for 3 months after I got it inserted. which was annoying but I didn't have an actual period sooo trade offs? 
I didn't gain any weight after insertion. 
otherwise I have had zero issues.

I have Kyleena, which is the newest one that I’m aware of. I’ve had Kyleena for about 6 months now and I personally love it.
Now, getting an IUD inserted differs from person to person. Mine felt like someone poked me super hard. But if you relax, breathe, and rest for ten minutes after they insert it, you’ll be fine! 
My periods have even slowed to be non existent! Which is great but also frustrating at the same time. It appears to me that you get a lot of spotting because your body is still getting used to the IUD... but you can also just spot instead of having a full flow. When you get an IUD, like with the pain, each persons flow differs. Some could go on like normal, some could be heavier or lighter, and others could eventually find themselves not having one at all after some time. It all depends on the person.
For the weight gain... I haven’t really gained weight, but I can’t really say anything on that because I’ve been active.

I have mirena. Not gonna lie, insertion sucks ASS. Definitely be prepared to stay at home that day.
Periods end at different times for everyone. I’m almost a year into mine, and they’re just starting to lessen.
Be prepared, some IUDs can mess with your period cycles and symptoms. I find I get more emotional than I used to, and my cramps are worse than they were before. 
Also, no weight gain. I actually think I’ve lost weight (too skinny as is, so not a great thing).
It all comes down to you and your body. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got paragard 2 months ago, the cramping was bad at first but it's eased off quite a lot now. if your cramping is bad normally then I probably wouldn't recommend paragard. other than that's it's been amazing and stress free !

I've had my Liletta for 6 months and haven't had any weight gain at all. Periods are still over a week long though, but lighter than my normal. I also get more cramps before my periods start, but before I barely ever had cramps
