44 and hoping to get pregnant

I'm 44 my husband is 33, been together 14 years with 2 kids 9 and 8 together, my son now 19 and 2 stepkids, well on February 14 it's 2 years ago that I had a miscarriage was 5 months along without me knowing and miscarried in my restroom, so he really wants to try but I'm scared it's too late for me😢😢, my period is regular on time every month should I keep trying what are my odds as I know it's harder to get pregnant when you get older anyone please? I really need to hear your opinions, thanks
