3 month old not gaining weight?

My LO has barely gained any weight in three weeks. He went from 12 lbs to 12.5. His next pediatrician appointment isn't for a few weeks. Should I start supplementing with formula or pumping to see how much he's getting? He has lots of wet diapers and usually one dirty diaper per day.

if he’s having enough wet diapers it seems you’re making enough milk. sometimes babies dont gain much and then gain A LOT and make up for it, so i would just wait until next appt

Breastfed babies often don't have steady growth the same as formula fed babies. Breastfed babies will have a cycle of a growth spurt then a plateau. As long as your baby is feeding well, having plenty of wet nappies and is alert your baby is fine. Keep an watch on the weight. Only if it continues would I be concerned

You could always feed him more often & see if that helps. My daughter had the same issue after I went back to work so I just started putting an ounce more milk in each of her bottles for daycare & her weight picked up
