Are in laws a vaild reason for a relationship to not work?

If you feel like you have never fit in and that they are two faced with you would you find that a vaild reason to leave

No. You don’t HAVE to be around them. You’re always going to run into two faced people. Keep doing you and ignore them.
I’d personally rather stay and annoy them with my presence. I wouldn’t let them win

I'm so-so on this. My husband's family has put so much strain on our marriage that I completely cut them out of my life. I hate putting him in the middle but that's what is happening. He fully respects my wishes and will stand by my decision to not interact with them but I know he hates it. He has said that he wishes our family could see his family but he understands.(Not saying he and our son can't see them, just that I won't be involved.) I'm a huge family oriented person so I think that's what took me so long to come to terms with cutting his family off, which caused friction between us. My husband and I are good now so I'm happy about that.

it depends on your husband's stance... my in laws aren't great and I have a major monster-in-law ... BUT my husband doesn't like his mom either so we stand together and he protects me when she tries to be crappy to me so it's ok... if he didn't fee similar I don't know if I could make it work

My husband hates my dad and doesn’t like the rest of my family. We fight constantly. I don’t know if it will ever work out :( it’s crazy how something like this makes you doubt your marriage. I wish I had better advice for you. Good luck

Before I got married my mother in law was very rude to me and hurt my feelings ALOT. We've been together two years and she is getting used to me now. If he's good for you and you for him  it doesn't matter what his family thinks!

I watched my dad’s parents nearly year my parents marriage apart after 25 years and 4 children. They love each other so much, but my dad’s family went after my mum (and even hurt my brother who was 6 at the time to do it). Thankfully, my dad cut his family out of our lives and my parents were able to repair the damage his family did. And now my dad’s parents have lost four grandchildren- none of us want anything to do with them. My mum did end up getting my dad to repair things with his parents (not his brother and sister though) after 7 years though. 
Personally, I’ve considered leaving my boyfriend because of his family. we’ve been together 2 years and since starting to talk about marriage about 5 months ago I’ve laid down a number of rules about his family. They don’t like me and they take everything from my boyfriend (they took so much last August that he couldn’t feed himself- he was 21 and paying for his engineering degree so is not like he’s got money to start with). I can’t stand the way they treat their son and I when we’re married I will not be giving our money away to them because that money is for our family (schooling, kids activities, retirement, etc). Thankfully my boyfriend is willing to work with me but if he wasn’t I’d have left him because I won’t stand by and allow my future kids to suffer for his parents who’ve never given my boyfriend anything. 
So yes, in laws can be a very valid reason in my opinion to leave a relationship.
