First pregnancy we waited until after the ultrasound (at 12wks), told my mum & then other family members first, then husband's family. This time we announced (to immediate family only) to husband's family (Christmas Day) and my family (Boxing Day) - we alternate where we spend Christmas & Boxing Day every year, but I would rather have told my family first again. We announced early this time because I'm so sick & so huge, it was pretty obvious.

My husband doesn’t really talk to his family bc his mom is bitch who starts fights including calling me so many bad names behind my back to anyone and everyone when I didn’t do anything to her or anything to make her hate me. And he’s not too fond of his father

told mine first..reason for it I'm still on my moms medical for my secondary insurance..plus its the first child in the family since i was born..almost 26yrs ago..lol

I found out before my missed period and I wanted to wait until I had missed it to tell people but my husband got excited and told his mom. We told my side of the family 2-3 days later.
