Am I the only one??? (Rant About Nexplanon)

Ladies, please share your experiences with me, and give me any suggestions to help. I’ll happily listen to them all!

I had the implant put in November 14, 2017. It was explained that I would have a few more periods but that it may eventually stop, that I may experience some spotting, but my periods would likely be lighter and more manageable until they eventually stop. But they’re still pretty heavy, and I’m still cramping kinda bad.

But they don’t even come consistently for me to track them. I’ve also noticed they slow down midway (ie., it’s brown/very light) and then it’ll pick back up (ie., red, normal-ish flow).

First period since implant: Dec. 3rd-Dec. 9th

(Lasted 6 days)

Second period: Dec. 18th-Dec. 26th

(Came 9 days after last period, and it lasted 9 days)

Third period: Jan. 16th-Jan. 22nd

(Came 22 days after last period, lasted 7 days)

And then my current period just started yesterday, 15 days after my last period ended.

Am I the only one experiencing this??? I don’t like this thing! I can’t effectively time my periods at all. It’s like I’m lucky not getting pregnant since I don’t want children yet, but I’m playing roulette trying to track a period that comes when it wants to.
