My mother in law knows a woman who had a NIPT blood test at 8weeks and told her her babies gender? How accurate is this thing and has anyone had it done, if this is real I wanna know my beans gender!!

I was told it's only accurate after 10 weeks. We did panorama at 10w3d to find out.

In Australia it’s called the Harmony test & it’s $425 but it’s primarily used for Downs Syndrome testing at 12 weeks (NIPT)

it’s not just used to tell gender. it’s used to test for genetic abnormalities and defects. it’s very accurate 92-99%. it’s also very expensive, upwards of $800 and most of the time insurance doesn’t cover it unless you meet certain requirements such as advanced maternal age, high risk for chromosomal defects and other risk factors.
