Night Feeds

My little girl is 1 on 22nd Feb and I was wondering how to do night feeds. Basically, she's just switched to blue milk no problems at all but I still give it in a bottle. Would you change it to her normal cup now?

Also I give it warm but should I give it cold now so she sees it as a drink rather than a warm meal?

I give her the bottle each time but my mil said I should be giving her the bottle in her cot and leaving her to it. Is that right?
