Contractions leading to labor?

I'm 34+2 weeks and I've been having contractions (I don't know if they're just Braxton Hicks or not) 3-5 minutes apart for about the last 2 hours.  I stopped timing them about half an hour ago.  They aren't painful or anything, just slightly uncomfortable.
Last time this happened I was 29 weeks and I went into L&D; and I ended up staying overnight to make sure they'd stopped even though they weren't painful.  
Could my contractions end up leading to labor?  Would they even try to stop the contractions since I'm 34 weeks if I went into L&D;?  I'm a FTM, I know nothing.

Call your doctor. That absolutely could be preterm labor, and yes, at 34 weeks they will still stop labor and/or administer steroids for lung development. You don’t want a 34 week preemie. My son was 34 weeks and spent a month in the NICU on breathing assistance, then came home for 3 months on a heart monitor.

I’m in the same boat. Braxton Hicks often and stronger but not painful per say. So if your water breaks call the doctor. That’s my plan

I’d call your doctor. I had contractions at 36 weeks 3-5 apart for an hour and by the time I got to the hospital he practically flew out lol good luck.
