Voluntary child support

If your ex voluntarily gives you money every month, how much is enough, will have a 2 year old when it'll probably be done.... just trying to get a good picture... don't want to drain her money I want her to live life comfortably and enjoy, I'm going to try to work full time over night so I'll have income too.
