I HAVE to breastfeed this time, but I’m clueless 🤷♀️
We make 1,000 over the limit for wic so we can’t use formula. (Unless we absolutely have to of course)
My second baby is due in April, and my first was born in 2016 and we breastfed for 2 weeks (well..mostly pumped)
Anyway, it was MISERABLE and it sucked and I was exhausted so I’m hoping this time I can learn from my mistakes and hopefully breastfeed till she’s 1.
When you breastfeed do you have to pump also? I hated pumping because it hurt and had to wash after every use, plus washing all the bottles over and over again, but I was able to pump out a decent amount of milk. If I just breastfed, would the baby get the same amount as I would pumping?
Does she need to feed on both breast in one feeding or alternate 1 at a time?
What are some tips that helped you?
I’m terrified to try again and fail, so any advice would help.
