I need honest opinions

Ivi • Baby #1 due in July 2018! Our miracle baby after almost 3 years of trying and 8 IUIs❤️❤️ My miracle was born July 8th, 2018! Motherhood is one of the most challenging, yet gratifying life change I’ve ever experienced!

Ok, so please don’t laugh. I suffer from OCD and anxiety so unmedicated pregnancy has been hard on me. Well, you can laugh a little lol.

This is how mind is always messing with me, I want to know if you anyone can relate.

I was at my mother in laws house. They have two cats. I put some food on the countertop in the kitchen to eat but stepped out to get some water. Literally 1/2 minute. Came back, one of the cats was sitting on the high chair that I was going to seat, hence she was near my food. The food didn’t seem to be touched. I asked my poor husband “you think she licked it? Should I eat it? His replies “I think you’re fine”. I was starving and had just bought that food so I didn’t want to throw it away if it doesn’t look touched. Besides, I didn’t want to look crazy. Would you eat? Would you even think about it? I’m used to dogs not cats. I know toxoplasmosis is through feces, I don’t saliva but it still worries me.
