17 week anatomy ultrasound - small chin
hi mommas!
this week i had my 17 week anatomy ultrasound. baby was overall healthy, as could be.
but, the doctors did have one concern. it looks like his chin isn’t growing as fast, and looking on the abnormal side of the scale.
it’s our first baby, and i am a worrier. the doctor said to come back in 6 weeks, to see if his jaw is aligning. worst case - it’s only cosmetic. has anyone been told this before? should i be worried? do babies with smaller chins early on in pregnancy - normally develop and get bigger? any feedback is helpful!
