Induction Date

Alright ladies, question for ya: I’m due with my first 2.22. My OB said he’d let me go a week past my due date before inducing me, which would be 3.1. He asked if that was okay with me, and I told him yes! I don’t want to be induced unless I have to be. However, my mom told me a few days ago she booked her flight out here for 2.17-3.1 😬 my doctor has been super awesome, and I know he’ll work with me so we can come to a mutual agreement. What would be a good date to suggest induction by, instead of 3.1? Again, I don’t want to be induced if i don’t have to, and hopefully she’ll come on her own, but the point in my mom being out here is to help me after birth at home, and I don’t want her to essentially come out for nothing. And, I just like to be prepared and have a {flexible} plan. Thanks y’all!
