Needing advice pleeeease!

I had a doctors appt this past Wednesday and I asked them to test my urine for a uti. I’m having the whole “having to pee” urge a lot with not much urine coming out, mainly when I’m standing all day at work otherwise I’m fine when I’m home. So they said they should test it to be sure.. well today at work I started getting in a lot of pain and my urine isn’t as clear as it normally is and I spoke to a nurse practitioner I work with and she told me i should call the emergency hotline. So my husband ended up calling for me since I was at work and the person who answered said they would call back with my test results... this was at like 2pm and we still haven’t received a call back. Should I continue to call this number? Is it really that dangerous to have a uti for a while? I’ve had the discomfort for about a week and half now. She said it could put me in preterm labor. I’m 20 weeks.
