Picture for contact?

Tell me if this makes sense. I’m chatting with a guy, we exchanged numbers then he says to send him a picture to save for his contacts. I asked him why would you want to save my info when we haven’t met yet? What if we never end up meeting or we do meet but we don’t like each other? To me it would make sense to wait until after meeting then say hey I’m gonna save your info so send me a pic to add.

Then he says, “just send me one because I sent you one”... I still don’t send it because now I don’t like that smudge of attitude. He then goes on to get mad🙄
