How often do 1 month olds need to eat ?

Im asking because my daughter only wakes up once during the night and then again at 6 , and in the hospital the nurse told me to not let 4 hours pass by but Im wondering if thats because my baby was just a newborn but my baby is a month now and last night she ate at 12 am and didnt wake up until 6 am to eat , idk if thats normal

They say every 4 hrs still bit my daughter was the same way. At night she would feed about 11:30pm and then would sleep until 5:30ish before waking up to feed again. During the day she ate every 4 hrs though. She is about to turn 8 and is healthy as a horse! ☺️

I would say let her sleep. The only reason I would wake a sleeping baby to eat is if they were underweight or not gaining weight appropriately per my pediatrician.

When my daughter was a month old she would feed at 12 1230 and wouldn't be up until 530 6 to feed again and would go right back to sleep after I never woke her up to feed at two months old she was sleeping straigh threw the night and still never woke her up to feed she ate a lot during the day every 2-4 hours depending on her mood I always just feed my daughter when she was hungry and my doctor said she was right on track and she's now a year and a half and very healthy
