I don't get it?

Question

I hear all the time you can get pregnant anytime of your cycle but the egg is only alive for 24-72 hours? and that's once a cycle, so how is it possible to get pregnant on your period? can ovulation and menstruation cross over at the same time? Doesn't seem logical to me

This only applies to those who have shorter cycles. Anything shorter than 22 days, will likely ovulate shortly after your period. Given that worry can live up to 5 days..? Chances are there.

because sperm can live a few days in cervical mucous. sometimes it can live up to 5 days and sometimes due to nutrition, stress, and a number of other reasons you may ovulate early or later than you estimated time. ive gotten pregnant twice. once during the last few days of my period and one right after my period and i was on birth control both times. the body is a crazy thing
