No, I’d think it would be fun to see how the father looked at the same milestone. 
Well as much fun as I ever have at children’s birthday parties, which admittedly isn’t a great deal.

This is an odd thing to ask.
Grandparents love comparing their own child to the grandchild. Whether they obviously favor someone else or not. My son looks identical to my baby pictures, but if you also look at my SO’s pictures, you see that our son has his eyes and ears. Its incredible and an exciting thing for everyone to see.
