PMS but no bleeding?

I've been on BC since February 2014. I know over time your period can completely stop. How long did it take yours to stop? Did it stop all at once? My last period was really light and lasted about a week, and I used to have really heavy periods that lasted up to 10 days. I've only missedy BC once and that was last winter.
