Throwing up from hunger?

Question

I'm 13 weeks now, and it seems like if I don't eat every 3 hours or so, I start gagging like I'm gonna puke. And so naturally I'm worried about overstuffing myself because then there's the same problem. Ugh!!!

Have you seen this idea floating around Pinterest or Facebook? It is for toddlers picky eating habits but take the idea for yourself. Instead of the ice cube tray just put it in small containers or baggies for a quick on the go snack that is healthy.
Things like corn, cheese, celery, apples, strawberries, peas, crackers, pretzels, etc. plus you just never know when hunger will creep up on you and what you actually want to put in your mouth:)

I found that there is usually a point where I am slightly hungry without nausea. At that point I try to eat something. If I wait too long the heavy nausea and gagging begins. Snacks help me out a lot (fruits, cereal bar, etc) eat little meals as opposed to big ones!

I've taken to carrying snacks everywhere.

I went to work yesterday and had to laugh at my self. I was wearing a big loose sweater and had an apple in one pocket, wheat crackers in the other, and in my purse I had a banana, granola bar, and microwave soup.

I felt like a squirrel, but at least not a nauseous squirrel.

This pregnancy I've been experiencing the same thing! If I get too hungry I will get super nauseous, gag or actually throw up. Before this pregnancy I didn't snack or eat a lot throughout the day, but this pregnancy has changed that (resulting in an increase in weight...which is frustrating) it sucks, but I hate feeling sick :(

The same thing as been happening to me I even almost fainted but I have absolutely no appetite and if I eat when I'm "not hungry" I get sick. I've been drink a lot of shakes

I have suffered  from low blood sugar problems my whole life (hypoglycemia), It has always made me feel like I want to throw up ( though I actually do now that I am pregnant ) the feeling is almost identical...

Best piece of advice I can give is... protein!!! No sugar or plain or junk food when you feel sick like this you will crash faster and it feels worse!
Definitely not before bed either or the morning is just gut wrenching agony

I'm like that. I've lost 25 pounds in this pregnancy (I was way too heavy to begin with, so my doc isn't really concerned) and am on a gestational diabetes diet plan. I eat something every three hours. Usually peanut butter and sugar free jelly for breakfast, a cheese stick and some fruit or pretzels for snack, whatever will go in for lunch (usually veggies, cheese, and hummus), another cheese stick and carbs for snack, various things for dinner, and some popcorn and cheese or milk for an evening snack. If I forget a snack, I start gagging or getting really irritable and sick to my stomach.

That's me first thing in the morning. Try keeping some crackers or ginger biscuits on your bedside table, it helps.
