Does Your S/O Celebrate Valentine's day?

🐦

🐦

My fiance is one of those "it' a bogus hallmark holiday" people and thinks celebration of our relationship is for Anniversaries.

This wouldn't really bother me but it's also my birthday and he just informed me he's working 10-6 with a 2hr drive home so we're not doing anything that day.

We do romantic things for each other throughout the year. If someone is only doing something nice for you once because a holiday tells them to, they’re kind of shitty.

Valentines day is a true holiday, but it has now become a retail holiday like Christmas and Fourth of JulyI don’t care too much about it gift wise

I hate Valentine’s Day. It’s such a cop out for people to show “love” or “affection”. You should be doing that any and everyday We don’t celebrate it in my house I might actually punch my husband in the throat if he even tries. But that’s just me

Not really but we’re both broke students so it doesn’t matter 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m still gonna get him a candy bar or maybe an Arizona teaBut maybe suggest to your boyfriend about doing something for you birthday next time he’s off? I know how sucky it is to be alone and not really paid attention to on your birthday

We do it our way. Get out of town and camp abd be with each other. The set menus and flowers and chocolate, blah.. We and do a restaurant anytim3, spontaneous flowers are better and fresh chocolate even better. This year we are going to a airbnb and see a Amish community, alpacas, historic town and just be together for 2 nights away from our house and the cats and normal work and Netflix.

Its his birthday, in the past. Hes had to, probably had demanding exes. Poor him. But with us, we dont. Its his birthday and thats what we celebrate. He still gets me a card and a gift, but I feel slightly guilty when he does as I never ask for anything, but I still get him a cheesy valentines card as a joke.
