Melatonin while breastfeeding?

Just wondering if it’s safe to take while breastfeeding and if so, will it ruin my supply?

It is considered safe but I would still mention that your taking it to your doctor. Also, just an fyi, if you take it for a few weeks & suddenly develop weird bowel movements or stomach upset...It may be the melatonin. Doesn't happen to everyone but there are quite a few incidences of people having unexplained GI problems that only resolve after stopping melatonin. (I'm in that boat)
