I am a Methodist Christian and my boyfriend is a Catholic Christian, we both love the lord and jesus, and i would like to take him to my church for youth group and bible study. would this be weird for him because we are different denominations?

I’m Catholic and my boyfriend is Pentecostal (well he was raised Pentecostal but due to issues with his parents’ beliefs he fell away some years ago now). He’ll come with me to church occasionally and has gone with me to a couple bible studies. He’s also thinking about starting to take the 2year course on becoming a Catholic not to necessarily become Catholic, but to learn about what I believe because we’re planning on getting married in a few years and our future kids will he raised Catholic. So he wants to know what I believe in. I’d be willing to do the same for him, but he’s not connected to a church anymore. 
So I don’t necessarily think it will be weird for him to go with you. But it might not be something he wants to do or after going once or twice he may not want to go again. Offer for him to come with you and see what he says. Do not push it though- let him go as far as he wants with this. Personally, any time someone has tried to make me go to their church/bible study I’ve really pushed back and its ruined our relationship because going to someone else’s bible study or church is a big deal to me. It’s not what I believe and some things I really disagree with. I’m ok with learning about someone else’s faith, but it needs to be on my terms. 
Just offer. He might be uncomfortable with it. If he is then be respectful of that. You could also offer to go to his church/bible study to learn about his faith as well- something that you could both do together so you both know what the other person believes. It’s not wrong to offer for him to come, just make sure he has room to say no if he’s uncomfortable.

No, it’s definitely not weird. You can always offer. As someone who converted to Catholicism and went to Bible study etc. before I converted, I always felt very welcomed.
