Is all feedback good feedback?

I had a poor experience on public transport today, and my friends encouraged me to file a complaint. Led me to wonder if all feedback is good, even if it’s negative feedback?

Yes. Companies dont know if they have a problem if no one tells them. However feedback should be constructive not “it was shit”.

if it's true and something that could be fixed then yes. if it's something stupid or your looking for something (refund, future discount, free items, etc.) then I'd say no.

I’m intrigued what your bad experience was? Just being nosey 😂. But I do think constructive feedback is good, people can’t progress without it. The feedback could make a big difference to someone else too.

Only if it’s constructive. There’s a difference between making a sincere complaint and just say the services are crap. Even with good feedback if you say specifically what’s good then it’s helpful for them to continue bring that service.

Yes it’s worth it to let companies know. 
My sister has bad experiences with products often and she usually calls the company and tells them what happened and they will send her a new one or something else free, because they appreciate her feedback.

As long as you are calm, polite, but firm about the feedback and not yelling at the person you are giving it to. Especially since that person usually isn’t the one who caused the complaint in the first place.
Sometimes we have to install signs in people’s yards. The ones who come out and are polite to us get a whole lot more help on how to get it moved than the ones who come out screaming at us or threatening to shoot us for trespassing(these are the ones who don’t understand easement laws). 
Once it gets installed we can’t move it without getting fined by the DOT so a lot of people get royally mad when we don’t move it the second they come outside. But like I said, the polite ones get help finding the right phone number to call to have it scheduled to get removed. The rude ones get ignored. Granted the ones waving a gun get left alone and the police called on them, so definitely don’t go that route. 😂
