How hard is it having babies a year apart?

I have a 14 weeks old baby, my husband wants to start trying for one more.... I’m
a bit scared.

im going to have 2 kids under 2. im definitely nervous seeing that ill be with them by myself for 13 hours a day . i hope it wont be to hard

I have 3 kids going on 4 and each will be less than 2 years apart from the other but I personally think 14 weeks is too soon to try again. I'd wait 6-9 months at the absolute earliest so your body can heal, also first trimester symptoms plus a baby is tough (it was much harder 2nd pregnancy than 1st)

We were given the green light to try when our first was 3 months. Baby 2 is due soon and our first will be 18 months. Yes, there will be parts that are tough, but I figure I don’t know any differently. Maybe more space could have been “easier” but maybe not.

It can be hard on your health and your babies health. There are plenty of women who have babies that close (myself included), but because your body is not healed or properly nurished, it can be difficult for some women. Just wait.

March of Dimes says this (copied and pasted):  “For most women, it's best to wait at least 18 months between giving birth and getting pregnant again. This means your baby will be at least 1½ years old before you get pregnant with another baby. This much time gives your body time to fully recover from your last pregnancy before it's ready for your next pregnancy.”
