I need advice ?

Okay y’all I’m 17+3 with my first baby . A little girl . And so far all I’ve bought is 5 onesies (3 newborn & 2 3-6 month) , some pacis and a bath set (towel and wash clothes and brush) . When should I start buying more ?? How much of each size clothes & diapers do I need ? I’m not having a shower really , 10-15 family members . So I know I’ll buy it all mostly but I don’t want to go over board & have too much stuff she never uses .

I always bought the larger sizes so like 000 clothes. they look big but you'll get more wear out of them. re nappies, I'd pick up a few packets of different brands. every brand is different and you won't know what you like till you use them better to have a few packs of 30 or so, work out what suits and then troll shops for specials on the big 100 packs. I got heaps of newborn nappies from my baby shower (I think we counted some 600 individual nappies) and we didn't use say 100 of them? I was really liberal towards the end to try and use them up bit now I have three packets for this baby. I've been stocking up on nappies I like since I found out as well. it truely is an individual thing.

Answer

I would pick up just regular items you’ll want in the household for baby. A nail file , nail clippers, nasal aspirator , infant Tylenol,  bottle brush and bottle cleaner. There’s so many little things. That way family and friends can get the bigger items like swing, bathtub, bouncer .
