In general, do you trust police officers?

In general, do you trust cops? I don't mean the one who is your friend, or the one who you hate. I want to know if you have a general trust for officers, or a general distrust for them. I personally trust Police officers. I think they are good people who use their best judgement to do their job. I won't deny that there's the occasional bad egg, but that happens with every job, and unfortunately there's no way to filter them out unless something happens. As a whole though, I tend to trust Police officers. BONUS: If you don't generally trust them, why? And if you do, why? *Side note, if people get ugly with each other I will delete this.*
