Adoption question!?

So this is kinda weird but I'm open to having kids, but I don't want my own biological kids. However, I would want to adopt. So here's the thing; can I still adopt if I am capable of having  children of my own? Also what is the process of adoption? If anyone has gone through the adoption process and is willing to share with me, I'm  all ears! :)  Thank you 😁

As a child of adoption, I would like to share my input. 
It doesn’t matter if you are capable of having children or not. Adoption isn’t just for childless couples who don’t have any other options. I was placed in a foster family when I was barely fifteen, and was adopted a year and a half later by a wonderful couple who now have a total of 17 children all together! 
However, adoption is a long process. There are certain requirements you must meet, a whole bunch of paperwork and money. 
Sometimes it’s drawn out longer than necessary, it can be harrowing and heart wrenching at times. 
I think it’s wonderful you want to adopt, and I say go for it! So many children need safe, loving homes! I’m sure yours will be one of them ❤️

theres no correlation in being able to have kids (or not) and adopting. 
also, im pretty sure the process of adoption is hard and kind of long. i would say google it. not to be a dick! i think you might find blog posts / informational websites.
