Vitex herb

Im taking Vitex my period had not shown up since December 31st 2017 was my LAst period first day. Till today I started! On Monday I started to take 1 pill per day of Vitex and I got my period finally ! On the bottle it says 2-3 pills a day the first 12 weeks but I started with one to introduce my body to it till next week once I am off I will start again with 2 this time. I do not take it during my period I heard it’s bad? Anyone else think or done differently? Anyone taken it I’m taking it to balance my hormones since my period has been crazy ever since I lost my pregnancy last year. Will be taking it for a few mths till I feel better and TTC than I heard it’s amazing to TTC while taking it people with infertility and PCOS etc have had good experiance. Anyone on here took Vitex before how did you start taking it how did you like it what is the difference between taking it on your period? Anyone love it? I need information about it I have done some research but I want to hear stories and how it worked for you and what you have learned online.
