Anyone work at a blood donating center??

I am 5 ft and usually 100 pounds. I have always wanted to donate blood but couldn't due to the fact that you have to be 110. I am at 109 right now and cannot seem to gain that pound. Will they say anything..? I am in nursing school so I understand how important that rule is with weight and blood donation ratio... Anyone know if they would say Yes? I have been trying so hard and my college is having. donation day on Monday..
