Is it better to space your kids apart or "get it all done at once" (with 1-3 years between)?

My daughter is 13 months old and I just found out I'm pregnant with #2. They'll be about 22 months apart. Is this a good age gap? I'm freaking out. I'm terrified. I'm on birth control and we had to try 5 years for our first, I really was not expecting this. Any advice having 2 under 2 is appreciated!

Get a good, comfortable baby carrier! It’s a life saver! I have an ergo. Mine are 18 months apart, it’s hectic, but definitely doable. They love each other to pieces( at least right now 😂)

Personally for my own sanity I left a 4 year gap. 😅 There are pros and cons to all age gaps, just depends on you and your family.

I have an almost one year old. We don't want a second until she is between 3 and 5 years old. She is an amazing kid but I do not want the hassle of two. One is so much work already, I can't imagine two. I get my implant out at 3 years and we'll decide then if we are ready yet or want to wait a bit longer.

mine are 15 months apart, and soon to be 17 months between 2 & 3. it's really hard sometimes having more than one baby/ toddler because the world revolves around them. they don't understand why they have to give up your attention sometimes but overall, it's amazing. you'll look up one day and they'll be playing together, laughing and hugging. Things are really rough until you get them on a semi- similar sleep schedule but also remember that even on the worse days, they don't stay babies forever.

My dad did it really weird. 3 kids with my ma, and one with a mistress. So I'm 10 months older than my brother, 11 years older than my sister, and 24 years older than my little sister. She's about to be a 3 year old aunt :D

ours will be 21 months apart (she's due in June). I'm a little scared to have 2 under 2 and both in diapers. But my husband is amazing, and it's all 50/50. Ideally, we would want them to be 3 years apart, but I suffer with infertility and am not getting younger (32). So now it is!

We got pregnant right after our daughter turned one (purposely) and while it’s hard having 2 under 2, I want them close. I never want to feel like “oh god, I’m starting over”. I would never wait more than 2 years before trying again. This is my preference. We also started having kids young (20 when our first was born) so we want to have them close so we can have time just my husband and I before we’re too old. I’d like to still want to be on a beach in a bikini lol.
