Feel like he doesn’t appreciate

So last Valentine’s Day I sent my bf an Omaha steak gift. It came with burgers, steak, potatoes, a dessert and a lasagna. He ate it once when their were like 5 meals in it. Last night he was going through his freezer and raving about how that was such a good gift last year and how he wants another. The thing is he still has practically all that I gave him from over a year ago so I don’t get how he liked it that much. Well this year we skipped v day and I was going to send him these donuts during his midterm week. The bakery is near his house so I thought that it would be perfect. But now I am second guessing if I should since it doesn’t seem like he appreciates it🤦🏼‍♀️ also we are long distance so that’s why I had to mail it!!
