When to share registry info?

I'm just curious when it's acceptable to share your registry with those that ask? So far those who have requested it I have just said I will eventually as it's a little soon, because I started being asked right when we announced at 13w. I'm 19w today and my shower isn't until May but I have an extensive community I belong to (I show dogs) and most of the requests have come from them. I'm anxious to not appear greedy, as we can certainly purchase our own things but I won't lie and say it wouldn't help. It is done, and the majority of things on there are modest with the exception of a few things that family want to contribute (first baby in 20 years on either side! I'm 34, I think most gave up! ) I've always been a little uncomfortable receiving gifts but I recognize that everyone is excited and as one person put it I need to "shut up and enjoy it, we all love babies". So, what's the norm for sharing your registry with those that ask? I have no intentions on publicly sharing the information, it's just not my style. Thanks!
