Update on my “psycho ex”

So a few months ago I posted about my crazy ex texting me however I deleted it because a few days later I was walking a little while from my house thinking I was safe and he pulled up with a gun told me to get in the car and in short raped me at gun point. After that I did go to the police but the case was never even close to solved because apparently he had lied to me about basically his entire identity because they couldn’t even find him anywhere in the system. Trying to keep a long story short I went through all the awful steps that goes with a rape case and they have nothing. I’m so disappointed with the system. I’ve been diagnosed with ptsd and I have constant panic attacks and flashbacks and he’s still out there ugh I want it all to end. I have basically said I’m not having anything to do with it unless it goes to court because it’s to much anxiety. Mostly just an update for the people that read my old post. Has anyone else had a horrible experience with police? It’s been a few months now.
