Just a Thought in Sex...
I don't know why people nowadays focus their relationships so much around sex and just being sexual towards another person. It just seems so bizarre to me why we have a culture that is so set and stuck on the fact that you have to be sexual and have constant sex to maintain a healthy and happy relationship.
I'm seventeen years old and my boyfriend and I just went and spent a day at an art museum a couple days ago. We were able to just be comfortable with each other and laugh about silly art and lean against each other and it felt so natural but there wasn't even a sexual thought in my mind.
Heck, we had a puzzle date where we just sat at his kitchen table and did a puzzle for hours.
I just don't understand why people try to force sex down people's throats and try to make it the key aspect of a relationship when it shouldn't be. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I've always felt like this.
It's not that I'm not ready to have sex either, I know that if I really wanted to I could have it. It's just something that doesn't interest me and I feel like it isn't that important.
Does anyone else agree?
Also: if you want to have sex, you go for it!! I'm not trying to bash anyone for saying that it's really important in relationships I'm just saying that I don't understand why it's so important and why our society is so focused around it.
