Could it be a yeast infection? What do I do? Please help!

Currently 15 weeks pregnant I’ve been feeling itchy down there and very little burning sometimes and a weird discharge that looks like mucous, my dr is 2.5 hrs away and my next appointment is until Friday, is it too long of a wait? Should I take over the counter yeast infection treatments?

Call your doctor and describe your symptoms. I had a yeast infection just a few weeks ago, and I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant, and the nurse told me that there was no need to go in. She told me to go get Monistat 7, and if I wasn't feeling a little better after a few days to make an appointment. :)

I wouldn’t use the over the counter stuff it takes forever to work. Besides I’d okay it with your doctor first for the over the counter stuff too. They never gave me any relief. What I do is call my doctor tell them I’m pretty sure I have a yeast infection and describe it. They are able to prescribe a pill it’s just one pill and does wonders! The next day I feel better. I mean I get them so easily and so bad. Hope you feel better yeast infections suck!!
