confused

I'm 37 and we're ttc umm when I was younger i had eptopic pregnancies (2) so there's damage i had one DD 14 years ago and 2 miscarriages last year but my Q is does my LH surge mean I definitely produced an egg or is the bbt spike the sign that means I definitely produced an egg? I had a small amount EWCM and using preseed so all signs are there just wondering what is the defiant sign that an egg dropped.... thank y'all for your insight if u have any it'll be appreciated.
