Body image issues..

So here I am laying around the house, being lazy.. and I look down at my once flat belly and see a pooch with stretch marks.. I see my love handles covered in stretch marks.. having my first baby 9 months ago has really changed my life for better but it has also changed my body and the way i see myself more than I like to admit. I used to take pictures for my fiancé and send them to him while he was at work and now I take pictures and look at them with disgust and just delete them. I was taking a picture today just to see what I look like from someone else’s point of view and as i was going to look at it and knowing I was going to be disappointed, there it is. There’s that beautiful human I made and carried in my belly for 9 months and now his 9 months on this earth with me has been the best moments of my life. Everyday with him is precious and if it wasn’t for my pooch, stretch marks, wider hips, he wouldn’t be here. My body gave him a home while he grew, kicked, and hiccuped for 9 months. Isn’t that insane? It’s crazy what a woman’s body is capable of. So I’m saving this picture to remind myself every single day, that when I’m looking at my stretch marks that he’s looking at me with a huge loving grin, and loves me more than anything regardless of what I look like. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I just really want to say thank you so much to all of your girls. Being a mom is not easy, and being a first time mom is overwhelming. I’m so happy that so many of you can relate, it’s hard when some women post how quickly they bounce back or the fact they even bounced back at all, it does kind of hurt. But not everyone does and not everyone has a “perfect” body with a flat stomach, ands that’s normal.. more normal than a “perfect” body.

I also want to say thank you for the compliments on my body, but especially my baby! My body isn’t perfect, but he sure is and my body made him so doesn’t that make my body amazing? Women don’t get enough credit for making humans lol. We literally make people, and they’re adorable that’s amazing.
