possibly pregnant. please give advice

so about a week ago I decided I no longer wanted a second child and was going to get my tubes tied once I got insurance the state I just moved to will take. since then I have been showing early symptoms I had during my first pregnancy. I might just be seeing things that are not there but I swear I started implantation spotting. we will see if it lasts or not but it was super dark and nothing like how my periods are. I'm super nervous. my husband recently decided he no longer wanted a second child also, I'm not sure what to do if I take a test and find out I am. any advice?
