How much per bottle?

I breastfeed, but also pump while at work. I’ve been bagging up 4 oz “servings” at a time if possible. Daycare writes down that he takes all 4 oz at each feeding, but now that he’s 4 months old I’m wondering if he needs more per bottle? He’s under the curve for weight/height, so I hope he’s getting enough. 
If you bottlefeed at home or daycare, how much is your LO getting at a time?

my son takes on average 5oz of breastmilk when im working but sometimes and specially the last feeding before bed he would take 7 oz and sleeps thru the night most of the time. someone told me that breastfeed babies dont necessarily have to take lots of milk because your body will increase the calories in the milk as your baby grows.

Breastfed babies are so hard, I would continue with 4oz but send in an extra bottle. If they see he’s hungry before his next bottle tell them to offer the extra bottle (and then continue from the last bottle). If it’s happening consistently for a week or two I would then up the oz to 5. But I would make sure it’s happening for at least a week and a half to ensure it’s not a growth spurt.

I noticed my bottlefed twins always wanted more after they ate 4oz so I recently upped what they eat. We do 6 oz in the mornings when they wake up because they sleep through the night. About 45 mins later we do 2 more oz. Then two hours from the original feeding we do 5 oz and then about 30-45 mins later 2 more oz and it continues like that until they go to bed at 7ish.

My 4 month old breastfed baby only eats 4 oz bottles of pumped milk. He wanted more once and only ate like Half an ounce more. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My 4 and half month old daughter gets 4oz per bottle. I formula feed and pump.  She sometimes will do 5oz too. She was 14pounds 2ounces and 25inches Long at her 4month check up.

You can try a little more but babies needs are typically the same up until 6 months of age. Most take about 25 oz a day.
