Is this it for breastfeeding?

My Dad died two weeks ago and I’m sick. My milk supply has completely tanked. My daughter is only 4 months old and I’ve used up all of our frozen breast milk. I’m worried that this might be it for breastfeeding. My goal was to make it a year or at least 6 months. I’m only pumping 2oz from 9am-3pm when I usually pumped 11-12oz. I don’t know what to do. Do I keep trying or idk I’m so disappointed.

I am going through a severed drop in  production, right around 4 months also. For me, this is when I went back to work. My biggest problem seems to be not getting enough sleep. I'm already up at night to feed and pump, but now that I have a non-flexible day time schedule to keep, I'm back to being exhausted again. I had tried diet, extra pumping / feeding and they did little help by themselves. This last week, I just have up getting some things done and making naps a priority and that had been made a much bugger difference. I still have a ways to go to get back to my former production, but there is hope.
Grieving also take a major hit on your physical self as well as your emotional self. Be extra good to yourself. and don't give up yet! Give yourself a chance to get over the cold and the worst of the grief before you call it quits. ❤

My baby just hit 4 months and I was pumping the whole time but I too Have dried up 😞 I guess time for formula

Try power pumping! That really helped me. And make sure you eating and drinking lots of water!

I’ve read that cold medicine can affect milk supply. Keep nursing and pumping like crazy and it will help boost your supply back up. Stay strong mama! Even if it’s the end of the road for you, 4 months is awesome!

Just saw my lactation consultant and she said to get More Milk Plus(the capsules) and that should help boost milk supply in the next 48ish hours. Also, she said drink tons of water and add pumping and nursing sessions.
