cervix question?????

At how many weeks do they start checking the cervix for dilation ???? i went on labor with my daughter at 34 weeks and I don't remember getting it checked before then I know it sometime at the 3rd trimester ???

also on Wednesday I have another doctors appointment where there going to have me connected to the monitor to see how baby girl is moving and how often she moves since my daughter was born at 35 weeks and I had a miscarriage last year .so far my pregnancy is going well even tho I'm also type 2 diabetes 😔

I'm just scared to go on labor early again... I'm 31 weeks 4 days
