Pretty sure me and my boyfriend just broke up I don't know what to do

He told me he's not happy in a relationship with me anymore and doesn't want to try and save it. I was pleading with him. He said he needs some space and will talk about it later. So now I'm just waiting. I honestly don't know what to do with my self. I'm so scared. I feel sick and numb. I don't know how long it will be until he messages me again. Part of me doesn't think it's real and it will all go back to normal soon. But then I just break down crying after being fine for 5 mins. Someone help. He was my only friend. I don't have anyone else in my life.
