Help!!

I had my membranes stripped yesterday at 10 am and was 3 cm dilated. Had bad contractions that went away around 3 am.. Woke up and went walking, and when I went to use the restroom, a huge glob of mucus and such was hanging from in between my legs. (Tmi I'm sorry) so obviously I'm assuming that's my mucus plug. Just wondering if this means I'm going to be in labor soon???! I sure hope so!! Anyone have something similar happen?
