I need help please

Hi my baby boy is 11 months old we have always used Huggies for he’s diapers and never had a problem but I recently changed him to the Huggies little movers and I noticed that whenever he pees the diaper starts to smell like really strong chemicals so I grabbed a clean diaper it smell fine and then I put some water on it and it started to smell like chemicals right away I’m concerned because he developed a small infection on his penis recently and I’m wondering if it could be the diapers we already went to the Ped and luckily we got medication for him but if it’s the diapers then the infection will come back has anyone else used those diapers and had that smell too or is it just mine please if anyone can help were going back to the Ped tomorrow morning for a follow up and I’ll be commenting this to my doctors but it would really help to hear from anyone out there thank you sooo much
