Is it bad to copy tattoos?

I just turned 18 in December and I found this beautiful tattoo that I would love to get! I’ve always told myself that I never wanted to just copy a tattoo but I love this one too much. Should I end up doing it?

Don’t ever copy a Tattoo! Maybe change minor details to it. Change the color of the Tattoo? Maybe thicker lining? Also, a good tattoo artist will never be okay with copying a tattoo. They will always alter it

Honestly it’s not bad at all! It’s your tattoo, your body, and you can do whatever you want! There’s no hidden rule book of tattoos and whoever says you can’t bring in a copy of a tattoo into a parlour has obviously never been in one! When you go to a tattoo parlour, they specifically ASK you if you have a picture of what you want and/or an idea! I got my tattoo off google, and I’ve never regretted it and I love it! It has its own meaning, but nothing too deep and I have no regrets!

I've heard from tattoo artist friends that it's pretty offensive to bring in a tattoo and ask them to copy it. it's okay to show tattoos to give them an idea of the style you want but don't copy it
